Contact Oxnard Dentistry
The fastest way to reach us is by phone. Our front desk answers during business hours and handles new patient scheduling, same-day emergencies, insurance verification, prescription questions, and anything else you need before, during, or after a visit.
If you are calling about a dental emergency outside our office hours, leave a voicemail with your name, callback number, and a brief description of what is happening. We check messages first thing in the morning and return calls in the order they came in.

Same-day appointments and dental emergencies
If you wake up with severe pain, a broken or knocked-out tooth, a lost filling or crown, swelling along the jaw, or any other dental emergency, call us as early as possible. We hold time in the schedule every day for same-day emergencies and will see you the same day when capacity allows.
If you are calling outside business hours and the situation is severe (uncontrolled bleeding, facial swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, or a tooth knocked completely out), go to your nearest emergency room and call us as soon as we open. For everything else, leave a voicemail and we will call you back first thing.
Insurance and payment
We accept Denti-Cal, most major PPO insurance plans (Delta Dental, MetLife, Cigna, Aetna, Guardian, and others), and selected HMOs. The fastest way to confirm your specific plan is to call with your insurance card handy. The front desk can verify coverage in a few minutes.
For care beyond what insurance covers, we work with several third-party financing companies offering monthly payment plans, including options with zero-interest promotional periods.
New patient information
If you are booking your first visit, please bring:
- A photo ID
- Your dental insurance card, and medical insurance card if relevant
- A current list of medications and dosages
- Any recent X-rays or records from a previous dentist, if you have them
Plan to arrive about ten minutes early to complete intake paperwork, or fill out new patient forms online before you come in. If you are nervous about the appointment, tell us when you book. We adjust the pace and length of first visits for patients who need a slower introduction.
